The grain company needed to demo and replace aging conveyors essential to their day-to-day operations. These components were not only massive in scale but also deeply integrated into the facility’s structure, requiring careful dismantling and precise installation of replacements.
To meet the demands of this long-term project, Sterett deployed our Demag CC2800 lattice-boom crawler crane. Known for its stability, mobility under load, and heavy-lift capabilities, the CC2800 was the perfect solution for handling large conveyor sections in a restricted industrial environment.
While the CC2800 provided the muscle, it was our skilled operators, rigging crews, and project planners who ensured success. From the engineering drawings to the final lifts, their dedication to safety and precision was at the heart of this project.
Thanks to careful planning and teamwork, the conveyor replacement was completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The Cairo grain facility now has upgraded systems in place to support the local agricultural economy for years to come.
