This May our Evansville, IN branch of Sterett Crane & Rigging transported two of our crawler cranes up to Fort Branch, Indiana to assist with a project. We started this particular project by loading the new section of the bridge onto a rail car that transported that section to the job-site. We then had only 6 hours to remove the old section of the bridge and set it along with the new tracks before the next train came over the bridge. When working under a strict time restraint projects can get hectic, but our team did an incredible job at planning this project and it went off without a hitch. We used our Liebherr LTM1400 and Terex Explorer 5800 for all of the extensive lifting of the day. This was an exciting project and we had another beautiful and successful day in Fort Branch, Indiana.
